Nobunaga's Ambition: Tendou

Early on, send one general per castle to conquer an empty city.
Other generals will perform construction.
Priority money and provisions over barracks. Build trading posts first.

Priority higher-level facilities over lower-level facilities.
Demolish existing lower-level facilities and build special facilities.

When you run out of cash, convert your provisions into cash.
Continue this process until all construction slots are filled.

Once there are no more empty bases, build turrets and forts on the front lines.

If an uprising occurs, march out and suppress it.
(Once suppressed, it will automatically return to the base.)

Should I set it to automatic bonus growth?

*You can check enemy faction information by clicking on the enemy castle.

Game Cycle

Conquer nearby empty cities.

Construct commerce, agriculture, barracks, etc.

Recruit troops.

Construct forts and towers.
Gather soldiers, generals, and supplies on the front lines.

Deploy once your national power is doubled.

Attack settlements first, then defend the surrounding area with forts.

Develop siege weapons.

Attack castles.

Repair bases and summon generals.

Renovating your bases will significantly increase their durability.
It's unlikely they'll do anything but fortify their defenses and wait for friendly fire.

Attack Strategy

Ashigaru:
Easily reduces base durability, high defensive strength.
Ashigaru cannot reduce the number of soldiers inside until the base's durability reaches 0.
Research up to level 2 adds Attack +6 and Defense +4 bonuses, halving damage from bows.

Bow:
Can attack bases directly.
Slightly lower defensive strength.
Attacks may be blocked with research.
Research up to level 2 adds Attack +8 and Defense +4 bonuses, halving damage from bows.

Cavalry:
Moves quickly.
Although not as powerful as a gun, its attack power is slightly higher.
Research up to level 2 adds +4 Attack +8 Defense and halves damage taken by bows.

Gun:
High attack power.
Long range.
Research up to level 2 adds +8 Attack +8 Defense and halves damage taken by bows.

Siege Tower:
Can attack bases directly.
Very high defensive power.
+10 Defense with a chariot shield.

Weapons, guns, etc. can only be deployed at the base where they were produced.
Requires transportation.

You can create formations by assigning three or more officers.

When you enter enemy camp, the enemy will march out. If you return, the enemy will also return.

First, build towers and other structures in the settlements in front of you and fight the emerging troops.
Reducing the number of settlements is likely to weaken the enemy's national power.
Roads will need to be rebuilt, and removing them will take an unusually long time.

[@ Attack with siege towers]
Is this effective when the enemy's foot soldiers are weak?
Add archers to attack from behind.

[A Attack with foot soldiers]
If your faction has an advantage in foot soldier research.
Add battering rams to weaken the main castle's durability.

[B Attack with guns]
If the battle takes a long time (your faction is large and well-funded).
Research will further widen the gap in combat strength.
Conversely, if the enemy's foot soldiers are strong, the gap in combat strength may not widen.

[C Attack with cavalry]
Only cavalry has the necessary technology. If not available
Assuming the enemy is an ashigaru, research horse armor (which halves damage from ashigaru tactics)
Bring a battering ram or siege tower to capture the base.

*The above assumes the enemy will be organized as an ashigaru.
Research is not unlimited, so you can predict the enemy's troop types to some extent.

*If possible, prepare a force of around 30,000.
*If in a remote area, it's fine to have no bases.

Base

It's best to have a troop strength difference of at least 10,000.

The defenders are stronger, so you need to lure them out as much as possible.

Start with 6,000, and your secondary castles have 8,000.
Even with a battering ram, you won't be able to reduce their strength completely because of counterattacks from the base.

By rule, you can only recover strength through recruiting from June 6-8 and December 12-February.

Expanding your base will increase your durability to nearly 20,000.

Construction

EMerchant Town
Build around a trading post.
Other important features include a blacksmith and a ninja village.

Build one ninja village for each castle. No reputation facilities are necessary.

Cities will be gradually demolished.

ECraftsman's Town
You can build a trading post, rice fields, and dojo.

Build around the trading post.
Build one workshop only on the front lines. Build one blacksmith per castle.

Other important locations are the "Workshop," "Blacksmith," and "Shinobi Village."
For balance, the blacksmith can be located in a merchant town.

EVillage
Build around rice fields.
Some bases only allow for the construction of fishing grounds. In that case, build more temples and other buildings.
Build one ranch per castle.
Prestige facilities are optional.

Demolish fields in sequence.

- Samurai Town
Build around the dojo.
Build one prestige facility each.

You can build ranches and blacksmiths optionally through research.
You won't need many, as you'll have excess cash after construction is complete.

Resources

Some higher-level research requires resources.
Others are lower priority?

Recruiting

Recruiting Facilities
There are two types of recruiting facilities: barracks and dojos. Initially, you can only recruit in summer and winter.
Dojos are more expensive per unit of troops, but they can recruit more troops than barracks, and the more dojos you can build, the greater your advantage over other forces.

Regardless of conscription power, your loyalty decreases by 10 for each recruitment.
Is it more efficient to recruit after facilities are complete?

*Recruiting troops decreases loyalty. You have no choice but to wait for loyalty to recover naturally. Recovery is determined by "fame."
In other words, fame facilities are also necessary for recruiting.
If loyalty falls below 80, an uprising will occur.
If an uprising occurs, will the troops you recruited be wasted?
A Shinobi Village is necessary to prevent instigation from other forces.

Guns

@ "Buy & Sell" "Purchase Guns"
A "Gunsmithing" Technology "Blacksmith" Facility

Automatically produces when a magistrate is assigned.

Warhorses

@ "Buy & Sell" "Purchase Warhorses"
A "Ranch" Technology "Ranch" Facility

Automatically produces when a magistrate is assigned.

Change your affiliation and combine your dojo, blacksmith, and ranch into one castle to increase recruitment and production efficiency.

Research

Prioritize siege towers

Sword Hunt:
Loyalty minimum increased from 80 to 70

Installment:
Gun and horse purchase prices halved?

Soldier-Farmer Separation:
Recruitment possible all year round

*Almost all level 3 technologies require some kind of resource

Alliance

Refusing a request to march will result in a 10 point decrease in prestige

If the target base falls without a march, the request will be withdrawn
(Is there any penalty?)

You can also choose not to form an alliance, but there is a risk of being targeted by a scheme
